I have just signed up with Wirral Sensory Services who run food testing in the Wirral and Watford for supermarkets and food manufacturers. You can sign up to their database through their website and they'll text or ring you when they have a test telling you what products are being tested and you can say whether you want to attend or not.
In the session you try different food and drinks and answer questions on an online questionnaire. I've attended a few sessions and it's an easy way to make a bit of cash.

There is a similar thing based at Reading University called Sensory Dimensions. I'm not sure there is a lot of money to be made from it but being paid to eat chocolate can't be bad.0
