I have just started to let part of my home on Airbnb.My husband has put a partition in the hall with a sliding door.The guests come in the front door and go straight upstairs where they have a Lounge /kitchen..bedroom and bathroom.I managed to find insurance with Directline and after speaking to the inland revenue we can claim £7,500 tax free.
We have quite a few bookings.

Every time I traveled I stayed in rent room by AirBnb. Never had any problem as a traveler and I think that's great way to earn some money.
