well about 3 years ago i bought far too much paper and still have 3 rolls so not sure f i should use that or use something recycleable.
why cant you recycle wrapping paper anyway?0 -
You can as long as your remove all sellotape and it is not plastic or metallic, but it isn't free in the first place, which was the OP's request.
I've got a couple of large parcels to wrap this year - framed print and a very chunky jumper- but they are for 2 and 6 year olds, so I'm not sure how they would react to newspaper or brown paper instead of bright paper - mind you, if I can't find paper on a long roll like Oxfam have done in the past then they will have to put up with it because nothing of usual size will wrap around the presents!0 -
If its for your own family you can use nice table cloths or flat sheets as wrapping, tied with some ribbon. This is very good for large items which are difficult to wrap. Smaller items can be wrapped in new teatowels(use them later or keep them as wrapping)or napkins. I often wrap large items this way. I also save paper from large items I am given and reuse it for something smaller. Wine bottle bags(the pretty bought ones)get used time and time again with a new label attached.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0
