Hi everyone, not entirely sure if this is the right area of the forum to post but here we go! I'm looking for advice on the most reputable dealers for Car Leasing, catch being that I have bad credit although I have guarantor in place also keen to try and find a one that accepts low initial rental as well

So going on the low initial rental basically you've no money, an income barely meeting your expenses and you want to sign up a friend/relative who will end up 100% liable for the lease for the car you quite clearly cannot afford when you inevitably default?
Do your guarantor and yourself a favour. Save up a few hundred quid, get on "Cars for sale in XX" or "Stuff for sale or free in XX" pages on Facebook and buy a cheap runaround you can actually afford and won't risk putting some poor sap who is daft enough to be a guarantor in the do-do for. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Generally speaking, bad credit = high initial rentals.0

@Tarambor Firstly, do me and everyone else a favour of having a slight pause before you type anything in the future, a forum is meant to illicit constructive advice which by the way yours isn't. Here are the reasons it isn't....A) You don't know me or my circumstances
i earn more than enough to make repayments without issue
C) Your comments are based on assumption and judgement
So the key message here is, think before you type.0 -
Unfortunately because of your credit status you will struggle to find a cheap leasing deal, but rather than just looking at mainstream dealers also look on the web as there are a lot of leasing companies out there some good and some bad.:)0

I do, more than you think. This board, the Debt Free Wannabe board and the Motoring board is littered with people like you who have got cars on finance deals they can't afford and are looking for ways out.Everlong22 wrote: ».A) You don't know me or my circumstances
But apparently not enough to save up for a deposit, afford a car outright or pay your bills which is why you need a guarantor and a car with a low up front payment. That strongly suggests that despite your claims to the contrary you cannot actually afford the repayments, not in a way where you'd be able to cope with an unexpected blll for a few hundred quid coming along such as the fridge freezer packing up or an expensive car repair bill.

No, they're based off your original post where you said you didn't pay your bills which is why you need a guarantor and you need a car with a low up front payment which says you have little spare cash and can barely afford a finance deal.C) Your comments are based on assumption and judgement
Maybe you should think before you get a car on finance you can't afford and drop some poor sod in it when you inevitably default. So the key message here is, think before you type. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I'm pretty sure most, if not all, lease companies will require you to pass a credit check before allowing you to sign an agreement.
There may be companies that allow you to finance a car with bad credit but the interest rates will be very high.0 -
My brother works for nationwide lease. I think you can get a car on a guarantor basis but it's expensive. If you have one anyway it may be better for them to take the lease if there credit is good. Then have you as the named driver.
Personally I don't think the benefits of potentially improving your credit rating would outweigh the extra cost of borrowing money with a bad rating.
Hope it works out.0 -
Reads like you will have no problems getting a car with a chequered credit history and low/no initial rental....
