Hi, I'm 35 and self employed and have never had a pension. I have decided this is the year I HAVE to start..
I'm interested in a stake holder pension but am struggling to compare one with another, does anyone know whether the Which guide is whether paying for? Is there any comparison site available..Any help would be great..
Thanks for any help

Stakeholders are much the same with most of the providers. The defined terms see to that. They are generally perceived as the low budget options with basic investment funds. They provide simple and basic for those that dont want best but complicated.

The pension is only a tax wrapper. It's the funds offered within it that are importnat. If there is no company contribution you may be better off to choose a stocks and shares ISA , much more flexible.:)Trying to keep it simple...
