Self scan and money off vouchers at Tesco?

I used to be an avid money off voucher user at my local Asda but they put a stop to it.
My local Tesco are never fond of taking money off vouchers either, so I have been trying to save a little by using codes on here for home delivery with Tesco which is brill.
I have just managed to get my head around using self scan at Tesco (when I pop in for the odd thing and to use my extra ponts vouchers
).
I have used a random money off voucher on the last two shops I have done and they have been accepted even though I haven't bought the product.
What Im wondering is...............how far can I take this?
Do they have a limit to how many money off vouchers you can use on self scan and can I use the vouchers from the Sainsbury magazine which is what I used to do when shopping at asda.
Any info would be gratefully received.

In my local tesco, it usually lets you out a few things then randomly wont accept any more without them checking them. I usually push it then deny all knowledge of not realising I had to buy the product.£2 Savers club £0/£150
1p a day £/0
