Complicated SIPP Transfer Question
Comments
-
Sorry, I didn't explain it properly in my original post - what I'm twitchy about is something happening to Vanguard (eg, getting hacked) particularly if I move the fund into their SIPP in a year or so when it gets established. My big fear is not just losing the money, but not being able to access it while they sort out the mess.
.
It's Ina SIPP. Why would you be needing to access it at short notice ?
If in accumulation phase, it won't matter, in drawdown you'll have a cash buffer so again it won't matter.
No harm though in having a second one with similar low costs especially if you decide the arbitrarily high UK% of VLS should be tempered with a more global fund.0
