Tomorrow I will need a couple of bits, bananas and bread mostly, so not more than a couple of £. Oh and maybe some eggs, the small ones want to make me a cake but there are no eggs left!! Was debating whether to take the kiddies to the cinema tomorrow as something nice to do on their last day at home. But it's £23 for us three to go!!!! I think I may just wait until it comes out on DVD! Not really sure what the plan is tomorrow. All I've done is book us 3 lunch.... Feel like I should do something fun or special but can't really think of anything?!

I actually put cheese back, I was planning on crackers and cheese for tomorrow lunch but opted for the reduced tea cakes instead haha. I dont really need the fish but at that price I know it will come in. I feel guilty about the fancies and biscuits now Ive seen it written down, I could have had my value cheese haha. Fruit is hard too isn't it? Because actually anyone can live off toast for a week but LOs need their fruit etc. I might not get bob on but Id be fairly chuffed if I got close!! Does it get easier or harder? I guess you get savier xx

I guess you just preempt what you always definitely need as opposed to what you think you might need the next week, I'm always half way through my list for the following week when I do the present weeks shopping. Aldi is super good, especially at the Moment with their super 6 I can get all of the small ones fruit for about £4ish. If I can get their fruit for around £4 I'm happy, bread usually comes in around £1, milk £2, which leaves me £3 for veggies and stuff.... You have to think ahead in the fact some weeks you'll need cheese, others you won't, some weeks potatoes, some weeks marg. £10 wouldn't go far if you were buying them all in one week, but spread out over the month it's ok. As bigger cheaper per 100g packs always cost more so you have to even it out over the month, by buying some things some weeks but not others.

I don't really want to have to go proper shopping again until Friday..... As small ones will be at school, but I can see it being Saturday or Sunday, which isn't good with two small ones....wonder if I could push it to Monday.... If I just buy bread and bananas..... 2 packs of bananas and a loaf of bread should come to £1.65..... Oh and eggs at 79p oh and rich tea at 34p making £2.78, I'm just basically going to try and spend as little as possible with all bills etc being so high this month.

Ah yes that's true. Cheese will be my luxury item this week, next week it will be butter.do you included toiletries? I have cat litter to buy as well. Also a fab way of getting things used up. Tonight i snuck cous cous into my rice to use it up and make my rice go further xx

I was factoring bleach and hair mousse, but realised it was a pretty big ask of my tiny £10. So decided to not include it As its not really practical.

From a fellow insomniacs I feel for you. I woke at 1.30 this morning so feel I have already done a day.

Food shopping is a trouble area for me. I'm going to try and do your £10 thing. I'm inspired by how you do it.

Hey parsnip! I just don't know what causes it, I'm awake the same time every day and then just about fall asleep when the small ones wake! Gosh I'm tired!!! I should get up and do stuff as opposed to just laying there i guess. Yaaay to the £10 a week challenge, feel free to post on here your spends if you like.

Oh thanks Lauren I will have a look into that.
