Cheap Kleenex Tissues in ASDA - misprice?

I've just been to Asda to pick up a few things when I came across some really cheap tissues in the tissue section.. They were Kleenex Ultra Soft (80, 3 ply) boxes with Comic Relife logo's on them. These normally retail around £1.50 a box, but they were 25p, and even the shelf said 25p.. I think this is a misprice, but kleened the shelf as I am suffering with Hayfever and go through alot of tissues in a week. :)

looks like you did well, can you get hayfever in the autumn? There's no pollen around at this time of year surely?

Might I suggest washable hankies, would save you money and less waste into the environment.

Poet, by what method would you be washing these hankies and what sort of cleaning product would you be using, may I ask?

This ASDA was in Swindon, but I would have thought its on their national pricing system, so might be available in other stores aswell.

    Thanks.
Will have a look in Fleetwood tonight.
  • Off topic a bit, but don't baby wipes help your hayfever at all? I find they are good because the moistness catches the pollen/dust/hair whatever.

Obviously not the most eco-friendly option, but just a thought :)

Definitely worth buying the tissues though for that price - good spot!

Having Comic Relief logos on them they will be considered old stock and hence "chuckouts". The price will be correct.

Fairy dust is both effective and ecologically sound in cleaning snottery hankies. On the other hand the fairies squeal a lot when you wring them to extract the dust.

Is this west Swindon Asda or the Orbital? :)
