car dealer gone into administration

Hello, I am sorry if this is the wrong place to post but looking for some advice. I bought a a car recently from a car dealer. I got finance on the vehicle and additional money for an extra 15 month warranty as I bought a land rover. It turns out that the car company has gone in to administration and never paid the invoice to the warranty company. Does this mean that I lose out or does it mean that the warranty company do as I have signed documents stating I have warranty. Do the warranty people have the garage sign these on there behalf? I am struggling to work ot out but the warranty company say it's nothing to do with them. Additionally there is outstanding work on the car, nothing too major and another fault has popped up since owning it. Has anyone had a similar experience? I have only had the car 2 weeks but lost the right to reject it as there is no dealership to repay the finance company.

From having a quick read, I think you may still be able to reject the car.
The finance agreement would be cancelled, and the car would be returned to the dealer.
If the company is in administration, it is still able to trade, so all is not lost.
I would consult Citizens Advice for proper legal advice.0 -

However, I presume that the car dealer introduced the finance company to you? If so, this is good news as the finance company are joint & severally liable for the performance of the contract that the finance was for - in your case to buy a car AND a warranty.
So, if the car dealer cannot satisfy the contract, then the claim is against the finance company.
Contact the finance co. and tell them that they need to pay to put the faults right on your car and to pass money to the warranty provider to obtain the warranty protection.
If they refuse, then write a formal complaint outlining what you want from them and why - and if you don't like their answer you can complain to FOS.
