Cut down on carbs.
I upped the cheese, eggs and fat and ditched the bread/pasta/spuds/rice/cereals/fruit juice and lost over a stone.Make £2026 in 2026

I read, somewhere, that a sandwich with tomato makes you feel more satisfied.0

Some great tips already. Would just like to add:
Something that really helped me was making a big pan of vegetable soup to last us a few days - no oil, just cut up veggies in veg stock, cooked until soft and blended, then I had a bowl of this before my main meal; just takes the edge off hunger and for not many calories (and I then was satisfied with a smaller meal). In the warmer weather, I have a small bowl of salad instead.
Also - try to avoid eating in front of the TV (if you're distracted you'll eat more).
Slow down your eating - use a timer if necessary - and put your knife and fork down between mouthfuls. It takes 20 minutes for your brain to register that you're full (that's why fast eaters tend to be overweight). The slower you eat, the less food you'll need.
If you have a curry (home made of course!) then finely chopped up iceberg lettuce is a great substitute for rice (believe it or not - I didn't until I tried it) and saves calories.

Do you steam or cook it or something? Crunchy rice does not appeal haha!

I use cauliflower 'rice' instead of pasta, spuds, rice. Chop up some cauliflower florets, blitz for a few seconds in a blender and microwave for 3-4 minutes depending on whether 1 or 2 portions.Make £2026 in 2026
