Hi,
Ok so here goes. In brief, we had a DRO (2X individual) start on the 04/07/17. Had a phone call this morning as 1 of my OH creditors does not agree with being in the DRO..Ii cried, all I want is for this debt to go. I have also just started a job (woo!), so that is better.
Anyway, this is our SOA. I haven't put anything in for haircuts, presents, holidays ect as right now we don't put anything aside for these. I understand we will need too in the future, can you suggest an amount that's acceptable?
Our joint debt in total is £17500, spread across payday loans, credit cards and overdrafts.
I have put this into Stepchange debt remedy who came back with a DMP, but don't know if this is what we should do or not?

Gas and electricity is too high. We're paying £65 a month for a family of three in a 3 bed semi with a stay at home mum so either your usage is too high or you're on the wrong deal.
As for Stepchange, do you own your own house? It is hard to advise what to do because you've not put down the credit card and loan amounts and APRs and what you are currently paying every month. You owe £17500 so you must be paying something and if you're not paying anything that may be why some of the creditors have refused a DRO. You've also put nothing down for school meals or kids clothes.
In regards to the companies not agreeing to the DRO, they have no choice if you proceed with it as it is done through the Insolvency Service and the County Court. Are you sure you didn't mean a Debt Management Plan? If you are a home owner you cannot qualify for a DRO.This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
