Accrued flexi

Hi
Do employers have to pay you for outstanding hours worked e.g. Flexi when leaving? I put the credit hours on my time sheet and had it agreed verbally, but they have not been paid in my final pay slip.

Do I have any legal protection as u would for payment of outstanding holidays?

Thanks

    No.

You have to use it or lose it kind of thing.

At least that is how it is where I work.

WE don’t get paid for flexi. It goes towards time off.

If you get paid for it then it may well be different.

Thanks both, I thought that but As i left on Friday ( Friday being a flexi day, last day in office Thursday) and stayed late to hand over at their request on Thursday So I thought they would pay it or at least Friday as they knew that was booked in

Hey ho, just wondered, me being too helpful I expect!
    Thanks

I agree. I know of no circumstances where employers pay for flexi on leaving, and the law certainly doesn't require it. It is normal to take it during the notice period.

Im not sure it's that simple. In essence Flexi is contractual leave, which can be claimed via small claims court.

It's often difficult as it's odd times here and there
