bought my car nd have some left over .. yay !

hi guys ..
im so chuffed .. ive been tackling the cc debt for a couple of month but I knew that this month my car was on its way out, so ive been saving like crazy ..
well yesterday I managed to get a spanking immaculate Volvo v50 09 plate with low millage, pay the change in insurance and pay for my first years road tax up front .. AND I also had an extra few hundred left over to throw at the card .. whoop !
little bit haggling and im one happy bedt buster ;)

so that's it back onto the clearing the cards ..

im soo chuffed I came on this group .. im normally an old styler and have never really tried to clear the debt, but after the advice on her regarding not getting additional borrowing to clear my cards, I have now managed to get a new car (well new for me) clear 4 cards and im on target to clear somemore .. all without taking extra money against my house.

I owe you guys one MASSIVE THANKS X
off to check bank and make PAD .. yay

    Nicely done!

Avoiding extra secured debt of course means that not only have you tackled your debts, bought a shiny car, you've also made your total DFD and MFD sooner than it would've been.

I'd say to do some doughnuts in your Volvo to celebrate but:

1: It's a Volvo, so that may not work
2: It's not exactly a MSE thing to do to burn the tyres and cost you a load of money.

    Just imagine them instead! :)
