Secured Loan Using Partners Income
Hi There,
I need some secured loan advice.
I currently own my property at around 50% LTV, i have debts that im wanting to consolidate and take out a secured loan. The problem is im on a low income due to sickness. My partner and i have been living together now for 12 years and his income is much higher. What i want to know is can we apply for a loan together if i agree for the loan to be secured against the house or as its only my name on the mortgage would only i be able to apply with my income which wouldnt get approved due to affordability.
Thanks in advance for the information.

Do not turn unsecured debt into debt secured against your home. If you are struggling to repay your debts contact one of the debt charities for advice; CAP UK, National Debtline or Step Change.0
