Do many MSE compers sell their wins?

I won a Jennifer Lopez ipod in November, just sold it on ebay for £250, this means I can clear my Christmas debts and start the year ahead of the game - have to say this site has changed my life!
    DEBT FREE since 2011
Retiring to Spain has changed my world

Well, now. As I have won practically nothing worth having - just "bits and bobs" last year, any win is a bonus.

In fantasyland though, I'd love the usual high value stuff - car, computer etc. But what I'd really really really love this year is a new cooker. A range style would be brilliant, but that would means also winning a kitchen makeover, as there's no room in the kithen for a range at the moment :D

lol yes i would love a new cooker too mine has had it all the knobs are broke but 2 so i have to take them off and put them on the broken ones depending on what i want to use so now i never know what temp the oven is at as i have to use the knob for the rings on top which are just numbered 1-6 so some times i end up burning things as oven is set too high. Well thats my excuse anyway nothing to do with being on here and losing track of time:whistle:

Firstly may I apologise if I am in the wrong place, I am not sure where to post and often get lost.. so please don't shout :)

This year I have decided to get comping, last year I devoted some of my 'work' time to hunting freebies but after reading on here about some prizes won by compers, I am going to give it a try.

I only usually enter comps on a hop and a catch, and never win anything - what sort of volume of entries are we talkign before I start winning?? I need some motivation!

Where is the best place to start?

    Thanks all x

    Hiya :hello:

There is no set rules as to how many you have to enter, enter what you like!

And its pot luck really as to whether you win or not, it may take 10 comps or 100 before you win

Best way to start is on the last page of the main board and work to the front, you can either enter everything or just what takes your fancy!

there is also the dailies, weeklies and regular comps too ( on the regular board) and postal entries if you fancy that

    Good Luck

    kips :)

Hi all, I have not joined the 2008 challenge yet as i was worried i might not win anything, I have now won a couple of things this year so would like to join but can anyone tell me how you work out the value of something, I won an LGViewty mobile and looked it up on the web but prices vary so much so what value would you give it? Any help gratefully accepted. Thank you.
recent wins-3 x anchor, a bag of skittles, 50 spud shillings, A tassimo mug :T

I'd take a lower price and the higher price and whack the value of the phone somewhere in the middle :)
