Surely posting them through a proxy server wouldnt stop this? clicking on a link whilst surfing through a proxy would for the individual.

I run a few websites and have always wondered whether some companies check where entrants enter from! I used to run a business through a website before i sold up and used to check where hits came from every single day so i knew which of my adverts/search engine listings were working and which werent.

When a comp form asks where i found out about a site i always try to be honest such as 'a forum', in case they record my point of entry!

When Demonoid used to be up and running, all links went through a proxy so as to 'shield' the site

I know what you mean, my daughter said she was going to buy a lap top, but never did, so very occasionally uses mine ~ I said she should still buy the lap top, and then she can go on the computer but she's probably waiting for me to win one .....

Could people PLEASE use the general Stickies at the top of this forum for discussions. All this general chatting on this otherwise excellent forum is making my comp time harder to manage.
