Exactly thank goodness indeed! Hope you're bright and breezy today. XOXO
Regretfully not sweetie - BG up twice in the night, took ages to console etc etc.
With you (last night) on the weird dreams - don't know what was going on - had 3 different ones! Mart1n Fr33man was in one of them! Not too sure if it was a dream or I've thought up the script for a completely new TV series! Blessed if I know - or if I can remember what the heck was going on in it now! The last dream was something about a cookery show for time-poor people. My MW was in it! And I was a presenter! Haven't even watched any of those type of shows - don't know what was going on!
Am currently sat here with matchsticks keeping my eyes open..... :rotfl:
Greying XPounds for Panes £7,005/£10,000 - start date Dec 2023
Grocery Spend July 2025 £294.82/£300
Non-food spend July 2025 £97.53/£50
Bulk Fund July 2025 £9.10/£100 -
:rotfl: at your dreams :rotfl: I can't remember a single one from last night, but I shall join you with the matchsticks - it's out last night of dog sitting THANK GOODNESS - he's adorable but goodness me he fidgets and snuffles and scratches all night long! And because he's used to sleeping on someone's bed, and because he can't get up the ladder to OUR bed, I end up sleeping in the spare room with him - and a single boingy bed does not make for a good nights sleep with a fidgety dog!
Hope all our days are relatively peaceful to make up for disturbed nights!:rotfl:

Oh dear on both counts to sleeplessness and dreams which are unmemorable or just crazed - although I do like the idea of food cooking for the short of time.
Hope BG behaves tonight and is nice and settled.
Well after yesterdays celebrity shenanigans - today seemed quite quiet. Picked about 15 kg plums for work and basined up some 'spoils' for staff - if none are taken tomorrow I'll process into either juice and compote or chinese plum sauce. There might well be a theme here as we've an extra 4 trees to harvest and the big hoose don't want any aside a puckle.
Some kale being replanted at work - might try and pop it into pots and give it some time in GH until its big enough to go out again - pigeons got it and its never quite recovered.
Work meeting at 6.30pm chased up wages which *seemingly* went into bank of 4th Aug and nowt to show for it - so will ask them to chase up later.
Tea is left over venison with plum sauce veg and noodles. I'm making cabbage noodles for me - experiment time.
Beautiful day here just gorgeous - pain am working but its almost the last time.
Harvest day tomorrow so who knows what the kitchen will be smelling of this weekend. I think MIL here tomorrow so likely it will be a roast - have a reduced chicken or reduced beef or reduced lamb in freezer........
18k steps but might go out later to get up over 20 for sure.

Evening folks
so as per normal routine - good evening chums - a poppadum has been consumed with some HM tomato/onion salad with added sesame oil - as inspired by GP - yummy that was too.
Accidentally left dog at work so double journey home. Very mse story the dug, I thought was in his bed in the car. Turns out as the Free MSE plums and veg from garden were loaded into the car, I mistook the very MSE folded winter jacket given to me by my chum folded up in the back of the car, as, well, the dog. Meanwhile the real dug jumped out when the loot was put in. Wee monkey.
Trying to get a jacket to jump out of the car MSE or otherwise, does not work. Lightbulb moment when you realise the dog is wandering about at work, without you.
Seems he had a nice time and double bonio's when we got home.
Half the evening on the phone ot the bank as it turns out the wages (old job) aren't in my bank but the cheque was cashed. Under investigation now, both banks and hard thing is as its out of his account - they can't reissue. Gah.
So that was that - good inspired day at work - but long - whole body weight in fallen plums - and a few apples, figs, tomatoes and lettuce. All a bit scrappy but OK.
Made a HM sausage roll (giant) from reduced turkey mince and reduced pastry for brekkies for DH for work next week - mix of sage and herbs they're cut now and all looking yummy. and under £1.50 all good.
Must do a meal plan for next week and add up the spends. NSD today,
Yesterday himself wanted treats late we ended up with some reduced bits fajhita bits and yoghurt used coop card - so cost nowt.
Need to do some cooking - but might wait until tomorrow.
Hope you're all grand and fabby and didnt' forget your dug today.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

:rotfl: :rotfl: at you forgetting the dog :rotfl: bet he was having a field day wandering around without you! Hope it was the older slower one you left behind and not the young tearaway!
Pah to wages going missing  who on earth has cashed it if not you?? :eek:0 -

Beanie NP there's a lot of waffle in there to wade through and yes it is a PITA but at least there's movement on it now. Bah.
Cheery was the old fella - what a hoot and he was so excited to see us - to be fair young tear away generally is lolloping beside me wherever I go - older chap takes a look at what he *thinks* might be happenning and 9/10 times chooses to stay at potting shed - so that will teach him to go off adventuring when he's clearly supposed to be in the car.
Morning lands - beautiful day here and I've just gone outside to discover garden is jungle and tatties look like they have blight - so I'll have to cut their stems off to save it going into the tatties. Boo hiss.
Planning a mixed day of home and DH is playing at an open gig thing so might also be supportive and tootle over there for a while. Tis in the Kingdom but at the far reaches so its a trek.
Last wee bit pastry in oven making a wee rasp tart for himself - picked a few from the jungle, sort of a home made danish with rasps and redcurrant jelly. Does look lush and was scraps of leftovers so very MSE.
Must do a fridge freezer audit and a meal plan, make soup and some other bits as both are needing some attention. Own body weight of plums I'm pondering might cook them up and decide their fate - too scrappy to eat raw - might make compot and cordial - might not. We'll see. At least I'll get to use me knew 'jeeelly' pan.
All good kettle is on I'm off to explore the fridge and the boards.
Morning world.
RT - have you much experience of the large Swedish shops hard cheese range - I nearly bought some but just don't know any of them......

OH L hope you and yours are well - and plum/port think I've had that somewhere - was lush.
Progress this am has been to sort out a couple of family events. And plan for tomorrow (Chum 25th wedding aniversary)
Sorted fridge and started a pot of 'bottom of the fridge soup' largely med influenced with addition of split tomatoes from work and a few courgette stubs.
17 soups in freezer for lunches
4 HM sausage rolls for brekkies
Did a wee food audit - a lot of chicken in there and some fish (all reduced) taken out some lamb leg and chicken will process lamb leg into a meal and make spag bog with rest I think. Chicken was considering boiling for a change and seeing if that increases usage v stripping after roasting.
Aside butter (none) and bread (6 rolls) and fizzy water oh and eggs (must find out about chickens)- no real spends required aside topping up reduced bits and improvising.
Been given a seal a meal food sealer - if its useful to use to store bits in cupboard I will otherwise I'll head to charity shops with it. I like the idea of it = but is it useful? Might go for a nosy on the OS boards.
Any input appreciated.
Onions in garden need platting for drying and need cut tattie shaws off. THere's some fruit to harvest and whole body weight in plums to deal with and a few apples. Beetroot is still growing away think I'll leave them be.
Must get on with that store cupboard might as DH to help me get down the cupobard in there tomorrow am and measure up = whilst at chums in big toon of marmalade might go to big DIY store and get what we need.
Finances looking OK - did have a chinese last night £13 it just got late and himself was working til 8pm so the lazy monsters crept in. Overall though not a very takeaway heavy week which was largely due to meal planning. And, sticking to it.
Wages not here bit of PITA but also means have survived first month without them and I still have some money left. So must think on when it does arrive if it should just go straight to a card. Might be a plan.
Must stir that soup and get that washing on the line! Need a list for this weekend I think.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
