Twitter notifications?

I haven't had any since July 31st???:( Usually I get over 100 in a day?:eek: Anyone else?

They have changed the way notifications arrive to your inbox in order to stop clogging up mail - and I reckon cutting down on server work for themselves (the real reason), you should start to receive one or two emails a day stating what notifications you have on your account awaiting you.

I went without any notification emails (old & new) for about three weeks, but now I only get the new way.

BB I can send you a copy of the new way if you PM me...

Is it the Email that says "check out the notifications you have on twitter" ?
I'm having a problem with FB notifications, again. Not being notified when someone responds to or likes my comments on post. Also no notifications show up when I'm tagged in posts-I've checked my settings and nothing has changed.

Almost a month now and I haven't had any notifications in my inbox from my personal Twitter account.

And on twitter itself I only seem to receive half of those I should get.

Annoying is too mild a word. :mad:

Zanzib, I have also noticed that if you regularly check your notifications, and they've cleared (coloured to grey) you do not get an email through... I think that the new system Twitter have installed takes a look at a xx:xx time(s) of day and if you have already seen any messages/notifications a message is not generated... That seems to be the way for me since they changed it all.

I often don't get to log-in to my twitter until the evening, but I have seen the greying thing on tweets I have seen.

I wasn't getting any notifications in my email inbox before the changes started. And on Friday a friend does a #ff tweet to lots of friends, few of us saw them and there was nothing in the notifications at all- he retweeted them in the afternoon and we all saw them.

Assume that whatever they're changing is interfering with some things.
