Royal mint coins and eBay pre orders

Hi, I'm looking to try and buy the new beatrix potter Tom kitten coin when released this month. Do i take my chances along with everyone else who wants one when they're released on their website; or is it worth buying them through the eBay pre orders that people are auctioning? This is a new area for me which I don't know alot about.

    How much do you want one? Only you can decide that...which will dictate whether or not you are willing to pay the premium ebay sellers will be demanding (and how can you be sure they will have the coins to sell...?).
    Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
