UK resident leaving Dutch company

Hi - my husband (who is British) is employed by a Dutch company - and used to live over there. He moved back to the UK a couple of years ago and completed all the correct paperwork for them so he is on PAYE. All good.
He is now just leaving the company and we are wondering if he should be getting a P45 (he hasn't as yet) or if it is something else as they are Dutch? My thinking is if he is on PAYE then he should get a P45..?
Also, he has been paying into his Dutch compulsory pension all the time - both when living there and here in the UK. Should he get some final paperwork from the company to confirm his payments or does he need to approach someone else over there?
Many thanks

If, as it sounds, he's governed by Dutch law, the chances of anyone here knowing the answers will be slim. I certainly don't have them, and I do know some EU law. It would only be likely if someone else was in the same position. How about asking HR ?0

Thanks - the company is not very well run (only small) and their HR is pretty rubbish (and on holiday!) :-)0 -

Any idea about the P45 though perhaps? As he is on PAYE? Thanks0 -
Honestly, no. Because you say that there is also a compulsory pension scheme, and that sounds non UK. I don't have a clue if there are arrangements in place for reciprocal agreements etc., - payroll isn't my thing.0

OK thanks anyway. I agree it's confusing - he went PAYE when he moved back to UK but still paid into his pension - they didn't have a UK one as he was the only person in the UK...Hmm...0
