You would probably be better off using the SOA that others use on this forum, as you are currently missing things like presents, haircuts etc. You might not buy these every month but you do need to budget for them as you will eventually need to pay for them. It's the little things like these that people forget about & they suddenly add up to a bigger problem. Also things like an emergency fund if you're homeowners, as there are the inevitable repairs that need to be done at the worst time. One year, 3 days after Christmas our fridge freezer broke, then a week later our washing machine broke & leaked all over our utility room, then our oven broke a week after that!

Is the car fuel cost the £100 you are showing as other outgoings or is it coal/oil/gas tanks?

£200pm + maybe what the wife spends in other smaller shops at another £100 = £300pm is expensive for 2 people (and dog) for a month, I've no idea what the company shop is but it sounds no cheaper than Tesbury's.

I would ditch the cineworld, TV series boxsets in a sale or secondhand dvds if you want viewing would be a far cheaper option.

Lunch at work @£40pm, buy a fresh loaf on a monday morning at £1 per week, tub of margarine and 5 boxes of lidl cup o soups, thats lunch sorted for a month for about £7.50. Is there a toaster at work, pre boil a few eggs and you can swap it about a bit for variety.
