I have recently applied for a job within the justice service.
I did an online test today and at the end it said:
"Your application is currently on hold, and we will be in contact with you shortly to let you know the next stage of the recruitment process"
Does that imply I have passed the said test? I'm confused lol

I it for MoJ?
I applied for a job with them in January, it was "on hold" for ages, got an interview in March and then never heard anything.
Had another interview in March for another job somewhere else, got an offer 2 days later and started in May (security clearance took few weeks).
Las week I got an email from MoJ offering me the job I interviewed for in March.... (!!!!). I politely declined as I am now very happy where i am.
Hope yours does not take that long...0 -

Yes it's for the MOJ.
They say on the advert that Sift/interview dates and location are expected on 5th /6th September 2017.
I can imagine it'll be a lengthy wait during the process.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
Well mine was - between interview and job offer... 4 months or even a bit over.
Frankly when I got an email with the job offer I had to think for a bit what it was.
But good luck with yours.0 -

It's just a standard holding message, so doesn't indicate whether you've passed or not.
Good luck!0 -
If you go back into your application and look under feedback, you will find the result of the online test, but generally if you had failed it would of told you.0

Thanks there isn't a feedback section when I log in.
The closing date isn't for a while yet so I'll wait patiently lolIm an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
Hi StClair,
I was just wondering whether you got an interview after the application was put on hold? I've applied for a job at the MoJ and just been had the same thing happen to me - just wondering whether this was a good sign...!
Thanks for your help!0 -
@Seang81 I've had the same, where did you apply for?0
