Hi, we are looking to move soon so looking for a new mortgage. Have been in touch with company called Finance Now Limited. Was just wondering if any one had used them or new of any reliable online financial advise.

Can't say I have any experience or knowledge of this firm. A check on their website ( professional looking) shows-

They are FSA registered and appear to have been around for a while

They seem to make their services clear ( including a pdf of their "Initial disclosure document) which I feel is good practice

They appear to charge a mortgage arrangement fee on top of commission ( not the highest I have seen - although you will find other advisers that don't charge on top of the commission they receive), but that said if their service warrants it, you may be happy to pay it.

They mention that they "Provide independent mortgage advice " but I can not see mention on their website of a fee option ( with total commission rebated to client ) that is required under FSA rules to class be classed as independent. It may be that they do, but don't show it on website -
That said this is IMHO a widespread industry issue - that many advisers use the term independent without meeting the new stricter rules.
