Why would you tell them? Even if they ask that question they would never have the time to check. IF they DO ask the question lie or else they will not let you in. Just say NO to everything!

Could they not check at a later date though meaning you wouldn't get in on a subsequent trip

What makes you so sure the op wouldn't be let in if he/she told the truth on the form?0 -
I just did a lengthy search on google and found an article here:

I've never heard of anyone having any trouble travelling to the US because of BR, and I can't see the slightest reason while there should be a problem.
I've read of plenty of BR's travelling to the the US with no problem at all.
I've read of several people moving to the US for work/residency while still BR; so if that's OK then......
So, no problem.

From what I've read on the US embassy website(link above) you shouldn't be asked. The website has a very handy visa wizard which asks you about your circumstances and gives you an indication of the ease you will(or will not) be admitted.0 -
You should be OK, if you get asked just make sure that they understand that BR stands for Bankrupt and not Bomb Reconnaissance, they are known to make some mistakes.
......Sorry
Off for my  now!0 -

I'm sure they don't have time to make checks after the person has arrived. Like I said I've never heard of them asking BR questions but I am American so I don't have to fill in those forms but I have heard of people being turned away for telling them they have been arrested. Those questions are not there for fun and if you tick 'yes' to any of them you're history. I don't believe it should be so but my opinion doesn't count.
Just tick no to everything and have a good trip!
