The good news is he has put aside money for the mortgage payments but there's no evidence that he is going to drop the claim company proceedings.

If he is not making the contractual payments. Then the arrears will mount. As there'll be additional interest and charges to pay. Not such good news.

It looks like the poster is promoting irresponsible actions on this thread. I smell Spam/fraud.

For the avoidance of doubt, I am absolutely NOT in any way trying to pimp the services of some dodgy claims company. Everything I have said is entirely genuine and I started this thread to ask the community for their views on the subject. I smelled a rat but I wanted some confidence before I challenged my friend.

To be honest, I don't see how anyone can read my posts as being in any way supportive of this void contract mullarky.

I smell paranoia on your part. Look at some of the comments from the OP about how bad its looking for their friend.

Seems its almost impossible here for someone to ask a genuine question without being accused of being a spammer. Which means ultimately that no one can ever ask if company X is OK or dodgy because obviously" it must just promotion" on their part.
