After 18 months at my job my boss decides to inform me to produce a fit to work note or go on the sick with stress ! They have taken away my company phone ,car and office keys, I have had no verbal or written warning, I told him I was stressed out with him shouting at me all the time but never stated I wanted to go off sick help

Time to look for a new job.
They don't want you back. As you have less than two years employment you have few rights, they can give you notice without giving warnings first. Whilst they have not done so yet, I'd expect it shortly. In the meantime go on sick leave, they'll need to pay you SSP or occupational sick pay if you are contractually entitled.0 -
No rights at all ? No rights against his bullying behaviour either, thats not good0

Did you ever try and learn about the boss's personality? You know how to manage the personality/trait? I can't get it out right but recently found myself picking up an old book of 'How to manage difficult personalities' something like this as much as I wanted to close it I think I've got to complete reading.
Was he always a shouter? Perhaps equally if this is recent something else has changed in their world?
Still trying to work out if it is best to have a shouter/swearer like a trouper! or to the polar end of being ignored.
Anyway I've known people go on the sick and end up with far better job, hopefully that happens here x0 -
It might help if you can give a bit of an idea as to what led to your boss saying that. Were you unable to do your work because of the stress, even though still going to the office?
Could it be that there might be a disciplinary issue, but that your employer doesn't want to follow that path if you are genuinely suffering from stress?
Difficult to know with so little detail, but at the same time you should only share what you feel comfortable with.
It may well be worth paying a visit to your GP anyway as it sounds as though you have been having a difficult time, for whatever reason.0
