Getting a mortgage with late payment? First time buyer

Me and my partner really want to have saved enough deposit and buy a house in march 2019. We were looking at our credit reports and we BOTH have a Early arrears/up to one month late payment in April 2015 from when he lost his job and really struggled.
After looking on Experian my score is 880/999 and his 790/999
I'm wondering if these late payments are going to completely destroy our chances of getting a mortgage even though they'll be 4 years old?

No they wont if the market is unchanged.
