Eating leftover takeaway

Hello all
I hope this isn't a stupid question!
I bought a takeaway Indian meal on Wednesday night and had a lot of leftovers. I was planning to eat these last night but then I was invited for a meal at a friend's house so The takeaway is still in the fridge!
There is a lot of food there, certainly enough to keep me going for the day but I am wondering whether I should just chuck it out to be safe.
What would you do?

I would eat it, heat it through thoroughly and give it a go.
I have frozen left over take away for dinner tonight.0 -
I'd eat it. I hate wasting food.
Just make sure it's heated right through...or eat it cold straight out of the fridge from the container..saves washing up'I'm sinking in the quicksand of my thought
And I ain't got the power anymore'0 -
I echo Karcher, eat it cold or make sure that it is piping hot, I hate wasting food too.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0

I'd eat them too.
I used to be a chef and the 'rule' is 3 days in the fridge - at that point you are supposed to dispose of it but in my home I'd even consider freezing it after that :rotfl:Emma

I echo what the others have said - I would eat it but make sure it is piping hot beforehandThere is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0

I'm always saving leftover takeaways from the weekend to take to work in the week. I do have a cast iron stomach though.0

I would nail all of it....0

Bin the rice if any. You can get very sick with leftover rice.0

I agree rice is so cheap and easy to make I would probably bin that but eat the rest as long as it was blistering hot.
I came home on Tuesday night with a chunk of left over roast beef from DDs that I couldn't use up straight away so I diced it up and its gone in a bag in the freezer to be used once minced up either in a curry or a chilli. I hate wasting food unless its really necessary and I can't possibly use it at all0 -
You must not eat it without testing. PM me and I will test it for you free of charge. Unfortunately testing will destroy your takeaway!0
