What do these references mean?

At the side of present and past company pension schemes these references are at the side of the 3 different schemes names, sent to me by newcastle scheme cessation.

These are example numbers but they all begin with S: S4118188T
S83000033B and S7000033B

With these numbers can i get more info about the schemes involved?like booklets? etc

Is this a reference to information received from The National Insurance Services to Pensions Industry (NISPI) based in Newcastle?

HMRC won't provide you with scheme booklets!

You mention a "present" scheme - if you mean a scheme of which you are currently a member, presumably you have (or can easily access) the scheme booklet.

With regard to schemes of which you were formerly a member, getting the scheme booklet applicable to your years of membership may be difficult - however the administrators should be in a position to answer any queries you may have.

Yes, they are SCON numbers :
What is an ECON/SCON and where can I find details?

These were for contracted-out pensions and are not needed after April 2016.

ECON stands for Employer's Contracting-Out Number. SCON stands for Scheme Contracted-out Number. They are optional 9 character reference numbers. You will have an ECON if the employer has an occupational pension scheme that is contracted out of the State Second Pension. Depending on the type of contracted-out pension, you may also have an SCON for each member of the scheme.
When the employer started the Contracted-out pension scheme they would have received a copy of the Contracted out certificate from HM Revenue and Customs. The ECON and SCON are shown on the top of this certificate.

Most employers do not have an ECON or an SCON and should leave these boxes blank.
