Barclays Springboard - likelihood of mortgage offer?

My hubby and I are FTB and have recently applied for a Springboard mortgage with Barclays. We have had a credit search and received a decision in principle. Our full application was submitted on Tuesday of this week and Barclays have arranged a valuation next Monday.
Is this positive and do we have a good likelihood of being offered a mortgage? We are completely new to this so any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Samantha
