Melton Mowbray Mortgage advice

Hi, 👋🏻
Starting a new thread as I have mentioned this before but I have no online tracking available and have no clue how the Melton work of what order the process is? Any help
Greatly appreciated.
Had a call from
The Melton on Tuesday to say my application is being processed, and that she will book my valuation. Today my accountant emailed to say that they have been in contact with him for a reference. So now my question is, is the process well underway now? Has this been to
The underwriters or does it go there after the valuation? It's very confusing as we didn't use a broker (wish we had now!) how much longer is this likely to take they've had the application over 2 weeks now!
Any help/advice greatly appreciated.

The vendor has their own agenda too. Whatever they might say to your face.
They've already requested lots of extra documents from
Us and the Melton MA said she thought it was a straight forward application? What else could possibly go wrong? 😩😩 she's instructing a valuation surely that's a good sign? :rotfl:0 -

My reference is to the entire time it can take to buy a property. Of which obtaining the mortgage is normally the shortest period of time. Also the least stressful.0
