Can I re-use?

Hello all,
My other half has a wee obsession with Red Kola of which we have managed to find a supply of 1 Litre glass bottles. We bought 48 of them! These are the exact ones.
Can I re-use them? I'm wondering if they will be OK to preserve my own handmade cordial in them.
Thanks for any help

At a guess I'd say no - purely as they will no long be air tight. I could be wrong though. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will be along soonEmma

I'm going to say yes!
Especially with a high sugar content liquid such as cordial.Norn Iron Club member 4730 -

You can reuse them, sterilise before use, then you'll need to waterbath the cordials to have a decent shelf life (otherwise its weeks in a fridge, as opposed to a year or more at ambient storage).1

definitely give it a go
our old thread on sterilising jars may help. I've used the oven method many times
