The Divide tells the story of 7 individuals striving for a better life in modern day US and UK - where the top 0.1% owns as much wealth as the bottom 90%.
By plotting these tales together, we uncover how every aspect of our lives is controlled by one factor: the size of the gap between rich and poor.

This isn’t based on real life. This is real life.

The Divide creates a lyrical, psychological and tragi-comic picture of how economic division creates social division.
It serves as both a call to arms, and a powerful warning.
The film is inspired by the critically-acclaimed, best-selling book “The Spirit Level” by Richard Wilkinson and Kate Pickett.

Wendy (Patricia Clarkson) is a fiery Manhattan author whose husband has just left her for another woman; Darwan (Ben Kingsley) is a soft-spoken taxi driver from India on the verge of an arranged marriage.

As Wendy sets out to reclaim her independence, she runs into a barrier common to many lifelong New Yorkers: she’s never learned to drive.
When Wendy hires Darwan to teach her, her unraveling life and his calm restraint seem like an awkward fit.
But as he shows her how to take control of the wheel, and she coaches him on how to impress a woman, their unlikely friendship awakens them to the joy, humor, and love in starting life anew.

Following 2012’s Oscar nominated No, which focused on efforts to counter Pinochet’s power-mongering, the much-venerated Chilean writer-director Pablo Larrain yet again tackles a provocative subject with his talented repertory company. A quiet seaside town shelters several disgraced priests, including the doleful Father Vidal, who is tended by an apologist nun, Sister Monica. But when yet another fallen cleric arrives, a local fisherman recognises him as the man who abused him as an altar boy, and all hell breaks loose. A worried Vatican swiftly dispatches a ‘crisis counsellor’, Father Garcia, to calm things down and make the priests face up to their crimes. As is typical of Larra!n’s work, the consequences are unexpected and powerfully expedited.

Newly remastered and restored, this cult curio captures music by Marc Bolan with T-Rex, Elton John and assorted artists of the day, evoking a time of free love and spectacular fashion. Fusing concert footage from a 1972 Wembley Empire gig, rehearsal and recording sessions, strange interludes and verite footage, it is an absolute must for fans, taking its place alongside Don’t Look Back, Woodstock and Let It Be in the pantheon of music documents of the era.

Hailed as a masterpiece at Cannes 2015, Tale of Tales is a sumptuous, seductive and macabre retelling of Giambattista Basile’s classic Italian fairy tales by renowned director Matteo Garrone (Gomorrah, Reality).

Comprising three wildly fantastical stories, including a queen who gives birth after eating a sea monster’s heart, an old peasant woman who finds youth after falling asleep in an enchanted forest and a proud king who raises a flea as his child, these are tales that your parents never dared tell you. Set in an epic landscape filled with a host of bizarre characters (played by a stunning ensemble cast of Salma Hayek, John C. Reilly, Vincent Cassel, Toby Jones and Stacy Martin), this outlandish, grotesque and beguiling fantasy world is like nothing you’ve seen before.

Beautifully shot, with a spinetingling soundtrack by Oscarwinning composer Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Rust & Bone), Tale of Tales is a lavish production from the makers of HighRise and Sexy Beast. Deliciously dark, wickedly funny and outrageously entertaining, these adultonly fairy tales are a breathtaking work of cinematic escapism.

    London - Leicester Square

    https://www.media-promotions.com/teleg_ticket_booking/logout_open.php

After earning a dream move to a London Premier League club, WONDERKID should be on top of the world.

On his debut, under the floodlights at his new ‘home’, he comes on as a substitute and scores. His transformation from scally to football superstar is complete when he earns his first England call up. It’s a clich! but the world really is at his feet.
Whilst life on the pitch couldn’t be going any better, WONDERKID’s world is crumbling off it. His OCD is increasingly crippling and he struggles with any kind of attention, getting into altercations with abusive fans. Despite the best efforts of JOHNNY, his best mate and now agent, WONDERKID is barely holding it together. After an incident dictated the need for a transfer, JOHNNY is WONDERKID’s only link to home. WONDERKID’s family aren’t talking to him. JOHNNY wants the best for WONDERKID and that means telling no-one about his...problem. He can’t tell anyone that he’s gay.
WONDERKID is living the dream of every young boy in the country but he’s unable to be himself and incapable of enjoying himself, living in a constant state of fear that he will be outed. His paranoia and trepidation is only heightened as he experiences more and more of London’s gay scene. Why are they allowed to be themselves and he can’t? Why can’t he meet men on Grindr? Why can’t he take a man back to his hotel room?
WONDERKID faces a struggle with his own identity and sexuality. Does he deserve to have a career and a love life? The reality is that he has to make a choice. Does he want to be himself or does he want to be a professional footballer?

Richard, 15 with learning difficulties, longs to put down roots but his restless and destructive brother, Polly, needs to keep moving.

Then a chance meeting with the new landowner's daughter, Annabel, leaves Richard besotted; while Polly befriends the guys who run a seedy traveling fair.
Richard's optimistic view on life becomes increasingly difficult to maintain as Polly's behavior worsens, and he is torn between loyalty to his brother and his first true friend in Annabel.
