Brothers Gummi (Sigurjonsson) and Kiddi (Juliusson) are sheep farmers living on neighbouring farms in remote rural Iceland.
They haven’t spoken to each other for 40 years.
Following an outbreak of a potentially lethal disease among the country’s sheep, the government insist that all existing flocks must be slaughtered.

The brothers – who care about their animals more than they do the few humans they come into contact with – deal with this in decidedly different, but equally dramatic ways, and must reunite to save their way of life.

Writer-director Grimur Hakonarson balances charming wry comedy with poignant realist drama. The two central performances by the raggedy, heavily bearded actors are full of subtle warmth, conveying a deeply felt connection to the land and all who live off it – sheep included.

Inspired by the incredible true story, EDDIE THE EAGLE is the must-see feel-good British comedy of the year.

Michael "Eddie" Edwards (Taron Egerton), is the unlikely but courageous British ski-jumper who never stopped believing in himself - even as an entire nation was counting him out.

With the help of a rebellious and charismatic coach (played by Hugh Jackman), Eddie takes on the establishment and wins the hearts of a nation by making an improbable and historic showing at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics.

From the producers of Kingsman: The Secret Service, Eddie the Eagle stars Taron Egerton as Eddie, the loveable underdog with a never say die attitude. Adored by critics and audiences alike, Eddie is the hilarious comedy that will warm your heart this year.

    Before the Internet.

    Before social media.

    Before Breaking 24 Hour News.

The victims of Thalidomide had to rely on something even more extraordinary to fight their corner: investigative journalism.
This is the story of how Harold Evans fought and won the battle of his and many other lives...

From Jacqui Morris and David Morris, makers of Bafta-nominated McCullin.
