Twenty-two year old David has it all he's young, hot, and he's just got into the prestigious dance school of his dreams. But he has a secret: for two years he's been sleeping with his sister's husband, Jules. After an argument between the two lovers, David throws himself into a one-night stand with Sam, a casual encounter which fast becomes something much stronger.
Unable to express his feelings to anyone, Jules is slowly driven mad by his secret desire for David, and jealous of his newfound, public relationship. To run alongside the release of the acclaimed UK drama Suffragette, this fascinating programme of British archive films documents the representation of the suffragette from the 1890s until the granting of partial voting rights in 1918. A visually dazzling mix of newsreels, documentaries and satirical shorts, accompanied by a splendid new score by Lillian Henley, this compelling collection demonstrates the eagerness with which the suffragettes embraced film and its power, and is a fitting tribute to their struggle. There are 10 types of people in the world. ‹(•¿•)›(11)A104.28S94.98O112.46N86.73D101.02(12)J130.63F126.76M134.38A200.98M156.30J95.56J102.85A175.93

Portuguese auteur Pedro Costa's beguiling film continues his exploration of the Lisbon slums and the characters that fill them. Our entry point is Ventura, an ageing local who wanders the halls of a dilapidated, prison-like hospital, meeting strangers, outsiders and ghosts. But we also venture out into the city in sequences that echo the menace and weird logic of nightmares. Striking imagery, home-grown music and an almost painfully intense central performance paint a haunting picture of a uniquely strange world. There are 10 types of people in the world. ‹(•¿•)›(11)A104.28S94.98O112.46N86.73D101.02(12)J130.63F126.76M134.38A200.98M156.30J95.56J102.85A175.93
