Discover the lies behind the Big Eyes
BIG EYES is based on the true story of Walter Keane (Christoph Waltz), who was one of the most successful painters of the 1950s and early 1960s. The artist earned staggering notoriety by revolutionising the commercialisation and accessibility of popular art with his enigmatic paintings of waifs with big eyes. The truth would eventually be discovered though: Keane’s art was actually not created by him at all, but by his wife, Margaret (Amy Adams).

The Keanes, it seemed, had been living a lie that had grown to gigantic proportions. BIG EYES centres on Margaret’s awakening as an artist, the phenomenal success of her paintings, and her tumultuous relationship with her husband, who was catapulted to international fame while taking credit for her work.w he had and the responsibility neither should ever, ever be given.

Directed and Produced by Tim Burton and starring Christoph Waltz, Amy Adams, Danny Huston, Krysten Ritter, Jason Schwartzman and Terence Stamp.

40 years since the terrifying events at Eel Marsh House, the building stands, rotting and dilapidated, outside the deserted village of Crythin Gifford.
As WWII tears the nation apart and bombs reign down on London, a group of eight children, led by young school teacher Eve (Phoebe Fox) and hardened headmistress Jean Hogg (Helen McCrory), are evacuated to the abandoned house. Fearful, yet determined, Eve tries to maintain a brave face for the children but after a series of disturbing events she begins to suspect that they may not be alone. With the aid of Harry (Jeremy Irvine), an RAF pilot stationed nearby, Eve tries to uncover the dark secrets of the house but their presence soon stirs a malevolent force. As children once more play in the grounds, out of the darkness comes the vengeful spirit, The Woman In Black.

NICOLAS CAGE PLAYS A CIA AGENT WHO DISCOVERS AN ELUSIVE TERRORIST IS NOT DEAD, AS HAS BEEN ASSUMED FOR THE LAST TWENTY YEARS...

Starring Academy Award Winner, Nicolas Cage (On Frozen Ground, Face/Off), directed by the legendary Paul Schrader (Raging Bull, Taxi Driver) and produced by cinematic superstar Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, Only God Forgives)

Evan Lake (Nicolas Cage) is a desk-bound Langley CIA agent, forced into retirement by signs of early onset dementia.

At the same time he discovers that his former nemesis, Jihadist Muhhamed Banir (Alexander Karim – Zero Dark Thirty), is not dead as has been assumed for the last two decades, but is alive and receiving experimental medical treatment.

Banir's exact location is unknown but with the help of a disgraced young agent (Anton Yelchin – Star Trek), Evan sets out to track down and confront him before it is too late for both of them.

A remarkably refreshing original thriller, DYING OF THE LIGHT sees Cage deliver a blistering, unforgettable performance as a man driven to obsession by his past and by what his own future holds.

    Testament of Youth

    showfilmfirst.com/pin/962608
Testament of Youth is a powerful story of love, war and remembrance, based on the First World War memoir by Vera Brittain, which has become the classic testimony of that war from a woman's point of view. A searing journey from youthful hopes and dreams to the edge of despair and back again, it's a film about young love, the futility of war and how to make sense of the darkest times.
