Hassan Kadam (Manish Dayal) is a culinary ingenue with the gastronomic equivalent of perfect pitch. When Hassan and his family, led by Papa (Om Puri), move to a quaint village in the South of France with the grand plan of opening an Indian restaurant in the picturesque countryside, they are undeterred by the fact that only 100 feet opposite stands a Michelin starred classical French eatery.
However upon encountering the icy proprietress, Madame Mallory (Helen Mirren), the Kadam family realise they may have bitten off more than they can chew. Outraged by the new arrivals, Madame Mallory is determined to have their business shut down. As cultures clash and food flies, an all-out war escalates between the two establishments -- until, that is, Hassan's passion and talent for French cuisine begin to enchant Madame Mallory and even she can't deny this young chef could have what it takes to garner even more acclaim for her beloved restaurant.

This, along with his new-found friendship with her beautiful sous chef Marguerite (Charlotte Le Bon), starts to weave a magic between the two cultures and, despite their different tastes, they discover an unlikely recipe for success that surprises them all.

An uplifting and feel-good cultural feast full of Indian spices, French sophistication and British wit, THE HUNDRED-FOOT JOURNEY is directed by Lasse Halstrom and produced by Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg and Juliet Blake.

Pride, directed by the Tony Award winning theatre director Matthew Warchus (Matilda: The Musical, God of Carnage), has a large ensemble cast led by Bill Nighy (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) and Imelda Staunton (Vera Drake) with the other roles played by a host of well-known British actors including Dominic West (300, The Wire), Paddy Considine (Dead Man's Shoes) and Joseph Gilgun (This Is England) as well as relatively new faces such as Ben Schnetzer (The Book Thief, Posh), George MacKay (How I Live Now, Sunshine On Leith) and Faye Marsay (The White Queen, Fresh Meat).
Inspired by a remarkable true story, the screenplay was written by Stephen Beresford. His debut stage play, The Last of the Haussmans, which starred Julie Walters, was a critical and commercial hit at the National Theatre in 2012.

JOIN US TO SEE A FUNNY AND MOVING COMEDY...

After making his directorial debut with 'Garden State', Zach Braff returns with the much-anticipated 'Wish I Was Here' a funny and moving comedy supported by an impressive cast.

'Wish I Was Here' is the uplifting and relatable story of life, love and family for a thirty-something man who finds himself at major crossroads.

Get your tickets for Monday September 15!

    About the film

'Wish I Was Here' follows the life of Aidan Bloom (Zach Braff), an L.A-based mid-thirties husband, out-of-work actor and non-practicing Jew. Approaching a crisis point in his life, he’s reluctant to give up on his dream of becoming an actor yet feels the strain he’s putting on his wife, Sarah (Kate Hudson), the sole breadwinner.

When his father gets ill and they can no longer afford to send their kids to a private Hebrew school, Aidan is forced to re-evaluate everything. Not easy for a guy who still daydreams he’s a spaceman.
