    Asian Dub Foundation
    IndigO2 at The O2 - Friday 17 May 2013
    Doors open 7pm
    Show starts 8pm
    Close - 11pm
Tickets are standing room only and we are very keen to get your feedback.

Combining drums and bass, Indian vibes, dub beats and punk rock influences with hard hitting lyrics, Asian Dub Foundation return to the London stage for the first time in over a year on May 17th at indigO2 at The O2.

Asian Dub Foundation have always been at the forefront of musical innovation and the show will see the band debut songs from their forthcoming album Signal and The Noise produced by legendary producer Adrian Sherwood. The show also marks the return of original member Dr Das, drummer Rocky Singh, Ghetto Priest and will also feature Nathan 'Flutebox' Lee. This reunification of Steve Savale and Dr Das means Asian Dub Foundation will be more powerful than ever.

Dr Das remarks "The new album's done. The mixes are identifiably Adrian Sherwood with a new take on old skool ADF vibes. We're very happy with how it's turned out. We are now rehearsing the band and it sounds heavy. We can't wait to get out there and play it live."

    SUMMER IN FEBRUARY

    1368092283_Screenshot2013-05-09at10.32.51.png

SUMMER IN FEBRUARY is set in the years running up to the First World War and focuses on the wild and bohemian Lamorna Group, dominated by the charismatic Alfred Munnings. The incendiary anti-Modernist Munnings, now one of Britain’s most sought-after artists, is at the heart of a complex love triangle, also involving aspiring young painter Florence Carter-Wood and Gilbert Evans, the land agent in charge of the Lamorna estate. True – and deeply moving – the story is played out against the timeless beauty of the Cornish coast, in the far West of England, beyond the reach of London and its stifling conventions.

    About the movie
Based on Jonathan Smith’s novel and inspired by real life events, Summer in February (Cert 15) follows the young wild hearts of the Lamorna colony of artists living on the beautiful Cornish coast.

Beyond the reach of London and its stifling conventions, and in the approaching shadow of The Great War, the bohemian Lamorna artists were dominated by the charismatic Alfred James Munnings (Dominic Cooper, The Devil’s Double), now one of Britain’s most sought after artists.

Sweeping the talented and ever-so-candid Florence Carter-Wood (Emily Browning, Sucker Punch) off her feet, the provocative anti-Modernist Munnings finds himself at the centre of a heart wrenching love triangle.

Fighting for Florence’s attention against the land manager of the Lamorna estate, the sweet and agreeable Gilbert Evans (Dan Stevens, Downton Abbey), precocious Munnings falls out of his depth when the competition for the young girl’s love ends with brutal consequences.

For the aspiring members of the bohemian Lamorna Group living in early 20th century Britain, following their dreams made life exciting and carefree. But falling in love wasn’t such an easy ride...

Summer in February reveals the story behind the wild young artists’ group which thrived on the beautiful Cornish coast during the early 1900s.

Muddled by a complex love triangle dominated by the formidable Alfred Munnings, this deeply moving true story is guaranteed to have you fighting back the tears.

With an outstanding cast including Dominic Cooper, Emily Browning and Dan Stevens, it’s a feast for your eyes and soul.
