See the first feature-length episode of Defiance before it airs!

Your chance to score tickets to an exclusive preview

Total Film has teamed up with Syfy channel to offer tickets to an exclusive screening of the first episode of brand new fantasy sci-fi drama Defiance.

Here’s the official blurb on the new show (which also comes with a unique tie-in videogame crossover):

"Defiance is an epic fantasy drama combining the scope of a sci-fi blockbuster with the intimacy of a small-town drama. Set in the near future, the series introduces an exotically transformed planet Earth, permanently altered following the sudden - and tumultuous - arrival of seven unique alien races. In this unknown and unpredictable landscape, the newly formed civilization of humans and aliens must learn to co-exist peacefully in a town called Defiance."

You can see the 112 minute feature-length episode exclusively before it premieres on Syfy channel on 16 April 2013, at a special screening in London on Friday 12 April 2013.

Check back at this page at 1pm on 10 April 2013 for a chance of scoring tickets to the free screening. Places will disappear fast, so please act quickly to avoid disappointment.

And as tickets are strictly limited, please only apply for tickets if you are available to attend the screening on 12 April 2013.

The sci-fi epic is launching in the UK on Syfy on Tuesday 16 April 2013. The videogame is available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC from 1 April 2013.

    IRON MAN 3

Marvel’s “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, Marvel’s “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968.

    Love is All You Need

LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED is a warm, funny, heartfelt meditation on the birth pangs of starting a new life. Set at a picture-perfect summer wedding in Sorrento, the film stars Pierce Brosnan as Philip, a lonely, middle-aged English widower and estranged single father living in Denmark, and Trine Dyrholm as Ida, a Danish hairdresser recuperating from chemotherapy, who has just learned that her husband is leaving her for a woman half his age from his accounts department. The fates of these two bruised souls intertwine as they embark for Italy to attend the wedding of his son, Patrick, to her daughter, Astrid. The bumpy path towards the union of their children, and the clashes and faux pas of their wedding guests, force Philip and Ida to re-evaluate all their notions of family, love and happiness. Filmed on beautiful locations in Italy and Denmark, LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED is an uplifting tale of love, loss, absurdity and humour that will leave only the hardest heart untouched. It is a film about the simple yet profound pains and joys of moving on - and forward - with your life.
