If you saw Nightwatch, you cant miss the next instalment!
A man (Khabensky) who serves in the war between the forces of Light and Dark comes into possession of a device that can restore life to Moscow, which was nearly destroyed by an apocalyptic event.
Featuring the cinematic vision of cutting-edge Director/Writer Timur Bekmambetov, "Day Watch (Dnevnoi Dozor)" is the second installment of a trilogy based on the best-selling sci-fi novels of Sergei Lukyanenko entitled "Night Watch," "Day Watch" and "Dusk Watch." A dazzling mix of state-of-the-art visual effects, amazing action sequences, and nail-biting horror, when "Night Watch (Nochnoi Dozor)" was released in its native Russia in July 2004, it became an instant smash hit breaking all film gross records in post-Soviet history. Set in contemporary Moscow, "Day Watch (Dnevnoi Dozor)" revolves around the conflict and balance maintained between the forces of light and darkness -- the result of a medieval truce between the opposing sides.

For all we can see of the true nature of existence is, shall we say, no more than bewildering and amusing shadows cast upon the inner wall of the cave by the unseen blinding light of absolute truth, from which we may or may not deduce some glimmer of veracity, and we as troglodyte seekers of wisdom can only lift our voices to the unseen and say humbly "Go on, do deformed rabbit again.....it's my favourite". © Terry Pratchett in "Small Gods"

Jamie Foxx, Chris Cooper and Jennifer Garner star in this brilliant film which will be enjoyed by all (yes girls, it's a great film - not just one for the boys!)
Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx leads an all-star ensemble in a timely thriller that tracks a powder-keg criminal investigation shared by two cultures chasing a deadly enemy ready to strike again in The Kingdom.
When a terrorist bomb detonates inside a Western housing compound in Riyadh, Saudia Arabia, an international incident is ignited. While diplomats slowly debate equations of territorialism, FBI Special Agent Ronald Fleury (Foxx) quickly assembles an elite team (Oscar winner Chris Cooper and Golden Globe winters Jennifer Garner and Jason Bateman) and negotiates a secret five-day trip into Saudi Arabia to locate the madman behind the bombing.
Upon landing in the desert kingdom, however, Fleury and his team discover Saudi authorities suspicious and unwelcoming of American interlopers into what they consider a local matter. Hamstrung by protocol - and wiht the clock ticking on their five days - the FBI agents fine their expertise worthless without the trust of their Saudi counterparts, who want to locate the terrorist in their homeland on their own terms.
Fleury's crew finds a like-minded partner in Saudi Police Captain Al-Ghazi (Ashraf Barhom), who help them navigate royal politics and unlock the secrets of the crime scene and the workings of an extremist cell bent on further destruction. With these unlikely allies sharing a propulsive commitment to crack the case, the team is led to the killer's front door in a blistering do-or-die confruntation. Now in a fight for their own lives, strangers united by one mission won't stop until justice is found in The Kingdom.
Kingdom is 15 Certificate and we have previews all around the country at 10.30am on Sunday.
