MARILLION >>> "A wonderful band who let me use some of their music in Donated to Science"
SYNOPSIS
Surgeon Astley Cooper declared in 1828 that ‘he must mangle the living, if he has not operated on the dead’ but today the opportunity for medical students and trainees to do gross anatomical dissection is becoming increasingly rare.
Concerned by this, New Zealand doctor Paul Trotman created a film featuring both body donors and the medical students who later worked on their cadavers.
Highlighting the importance of this most generous final act, the film also shows the experiences of the students as they undertake this often overwhelming stage in their training.
Following the film there will be a Q&A with Paul Trotman
