"Ken Loach brings us a touching comedy about Eric (Steve Evets), a luckless middle-aged postman from Manchester.
Eric’s wife has gone, his stepsons are out of control and the house was chaotic even before a cement mixer appeared in the front garden. Life is crazy enough, but it is the postman’s secret that is driving him to the brink. How can he face up to Lily (Stephanie Bishop), the woman he once loved and walked out on many years ago? Despite the misplaced goodwill of his mates, things aren’t looking up and after stealing a joint from his adolescent son, Eric starts seeing his hero, footballer Eric Cantona, who offers him some spiritual guidance.

A chance to see this film before it opens nationwide on 11th June 2009

Hope you can make one of these previews and look forward to hearing what you think of it!

Its this summer's craziest, most ridiculously uncontrollable gotta-see-it-like-ten-times comedy. Directed by Todd Phillips (Old School, Road Trip), film. The Hangover stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis as three soon-to-be groomsmen who lose their buddy (aka the groom) and their memory during a balls-to-the-wall Las Vegas bachelor party weekend, then race to retrace their steps and find their friend before the wedding.

The film has garnered so much advanced buzz that a sequel is already being set up, and it's fairly safe to say that this could be Phillips' best film since Old School. You've got Vegas, live tigers in the hotel bathroom, an unknown baby, a stolen police car, a missing tooth and Mike Tyson -- what's not to love? (Note to those guys currently planning Las Vegas bachelor parties: You might want to leave the fiance at Las Vegas bachelor parties: You might want to leave the fiance at home before venturing out to see this flick. Just a hunch, but something tells me she might have a few additional questions, concerns and demands after watching The Hangover. Unless she's totally cool with whatever; if that's the case, the more the merrier!)

Eric the postman is slipping through his own fingers. His wife has gone, his stepsons are out of control and the house was chaotic even before a cement mixer appeared in the front garden. Life is crazy enough, but it is Eric's own secret that is driving him to the brink. How can he face up to Lily, the woman of his dreams that he once loved and walked out on many years ago? Despite the comical efforts and misplaced goodwill of his mates, Eric continues to sink.

In desperate times it takes a special friend to help a lost postman find his way, so Eric turns to his hero: footballing genius, philosopher and poster boy, Eric Cantona.

Thank you for signing up to Credit Crunch Cinema and the EXCLUSIVE
screenings ONLY AT SELECTED VUE CINEMAS.

The next screening will be, in proud association with KERRANG:

    "DEADGIRL"

Daring, original and utterly genre-busting, “Deadgirl” is a terrifying journey to the dark heart of the American high school generation. Fantastical, frenzied and darkly hilarious, this is a horror movie, a high school comedy and a coming-of-age movie all turned on their sick and twisted heads.

When teenage misfits Rickie and JT cut school one day, they find themselves in the derelict remains of an abandoned hospital. The gruesome, unnerving discovery they make in the bowels of the facility will test the very limits of their sanity: a woman, naked, chained and covered in plastic. She’s abandoned, she’s beautiful, she’s dead...or is she?

What follows is a warped odyssey that forces this pair of outcasts, their high-school tormentors and adolescent crushes to all decide just how far they're willing to stretch their understanding of what is right and what is very, very wrong.

From the producer of the seminal “Hellraiser” and the legendary “Heathers”, “Deadgirl” is a new genre classic and a no-holds-barred look at the horror of growing up. Starring Shiloh Fernandez (“The United States Of Tara”), Noah Segan (“Brick”), Michael Bowen (“Kill Bill”), and Candice Accola (“Juno”).
