Senior Railcard v Two Together Railcard

Hi,
Can anyone confirm my suspicion that a "Two Together Railcard" would be cheaper for two seniors (who always travel together) than a pair of "Senior Railcards"? Just trying to see if there's a catch!
Thanks

I recently looked at it for friends, the only difference on 2 together is you can't use on trains before 9.30 and there are some advantages to Senior rail cards for travel on trains in London like the Gatwick express. If you have any Tesco vouchers though its £15 of vouchers for the £30 pass and indeed £15 vouchers each Senior Railcard. Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama0

Q1) Will you be making many journeys in what is known as the 'Network Area'?
If the answer to Q1 is "no", proceed to the next question:
Q2) Will you be making many journeys before 09:30?
If the answer to Q2 is "yes" then it may be cheaper overall for you to buy a pair of Senior Railcards, but we'd need an idea of annual spend first.0 -
Hi, Firstly thanks for the link to the "Network Area". In answer to the questions the majority of our trips will not be in the Network Area and avoiding 04:30 - 09:29 weekdays is not a problem. Annual spend is not going to be great as this is for the odd trip/holiday. Looking like the "Two Together" may be our best bet, however the "AUGUST10MS"
Code appears not to work at present.....0 -
Use the code "ONLINE" as detailed here to get the 10% (£3) discount.0
