UK loans for EU residents who are British citizens

Options
I was just wondering if any one knows of any UK institutions that will give a loan to a British Citizen living in Europe? My salary still goes into my UK bank account as I am not out of the country permanently, but from what I've seen, the majority of banks etc won't give me a loan because my current address is outwith the UK. If anyone has any suggestions they would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

No - you would need to try lenders in your vicinity.

As you are only out of the country temporarily, could you not use a parent's or sibling's address?
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

Either save up what you need, take out a loan where you live, do without or if you have a family member living in the UK then ask them.

Surely the vast majority of British citizens live in Europe......

Just shows why the massive European experiment has failed to work. Banks won't lend to people working elsewhere in the EU, and people in Britain don't think of themselves as living in Europe.

No as banks need to follow money laundering regulations and shipping money off to the European continent may not tick all the boxes. Also if you didn't repay, it would be very costly for them to try get the money back through a continental European court.
