Mortgage and Credit card balance transfer

Hi everyone,
I find this forum so helpful so am hoping that someone might be able to help me.
We intend to apply for a mortgage in December when we will have saved up the amount required for a deposit. We have already received a DIP from Halifax and if they offer the best rate (according to our mortgage advisor) then we will use them.
We have a credit card with NatWest with a balance of £2000 and would like to complete a 0% balance transfer. The best deal at the moment seems to be with Halifax.
I am just wondering whether taking this card out with Halifax may be looked at as unfavourable by them when we apply for a mortgage in December.
If anyone has any advice I would be very grateful.
Many thanks
