FTB & nervous
impatient or right to worry ?
GRRRRR: so annoyed, nothing seems to be moving, not sure what to do, I call/email Broker every day and broker keeps saying ill chase UW, don't worry, nothing seems to been happening,, advise please, am I being impatient or should i consider going else where?
told need to exchange by certain time to qualify for incentives,
Found new build house 13/7
Financial check by their Broker 13/7
Reserved house 13/7
Forms & documents sent to broker 16/7
Told all ok for Natwest Mortgage and given the go ahead.
Solicitors forms signed and returned 20/7
Told balls all rolling and valuation and offer should be with us by end of next week. 21/7
no valuation fee taken 23/7
HTB forms returned with wrong names !!!! 24/7
no valuation fee taken 24/7
Called broker , told they would chase UW, 25/7
still no fees taken 26/7
Is this normal or should I consider going direct and not through broker even though a credit check has been done 21/7, its just Broker told me the valuation fee would be taken before any credit checks and valuation would be done before any offers...

Hello, yes definitely normal! By the sounds of it your Mortgage Application was only put in a week ago. If you were to get an offer within a week, as a FTB, that would have been exceptionally quick!0

Wasn't so much of a offer, the broker said the valuation usually done within a day or two. But no funds from our bank has gone,
But if you say it's norm I'll just sit back and wait . Thank you
Prob being FTB after renting for 20 years is making me so nervous
Just realised I've logged on via a different method and found my old sign in details Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0 -
Yes, it is normal so try not to worry, it is a long process these days unfortunately.
Check out NatWest turnaround times about half way down on this page:

Hopefully put you at ease, good luck!!0 -
My Natwest mortgage was approved quickly subject and I valuation but we had to wait 10 days for that to be cArried out and then a couple after it to be confirmed approved0
