So what treatment has he refused Buffy?
It has varied, some days he won't them examine him which means they can't give meds and other days he refuses meds outright(so missing antibiotics was dangerous). So far for two days he has allowed them to do stuff. I mean it is clearly a matter of control - he has none and fair play is trying to get it back.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -

Buffy has there been any engagement about a home care package?
Also, if you go to your GP and explain about the sedation free dental work, they could maybe give you something to take the edge off. Well done you for not cancelling today's appointment.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. No, Mum will not entertain any talk of what ifs unfortunately and she doesn't believe she would have to sell the house to pay for care and so that is it. The solicitor seemed nice according to Mum but she took the house valuation at Mum's word (it was about 100 grand out I know in the end it wouldn't matter, but it did show she doesn't have a handle on what she is worth) and didn't go into any questions re what I pay for or have contributed to and for how long. Mum did have to face up to some questions re the three of us and how we might behave, to be honest my whole impression of it was very slapdash but then Mum forgets some stuff although it is in effect it is a simple will so how much could there be to forget, one house, 3 kids, shared equally. She is not incapable so it is what it is and I am ok with that. All this brother in law business has made her feel more vulnerable in some ways and less in others. She wants to be in control.
All I am going to do at the moment is save and check my pension and my taxes! Remind me of that when I am next on Amazon!
I suppose I should sort out a will. How grim.
Also re dentist, I do have a prescription for Valium so may get that filled....or re issued.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -

Ha yep, she probably does, no he is apparently too far off coming home to make a plan regarding that. They don't know how long he will spend at the rehabilitation unit yet. I get the impression it could be months.
Had bad news this morning, he pulled out his feeding tube, which is 1. painful and 2. means he will need to physically take his meds. Which is difficult.
He was very upset. It is just truly heartbreaking.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
