Virgin Money DIP - credit check(s)

Just had my DIP approved from Virgin, will be proceeding with full application by the end of the week.

I wanted to know if a credit check has already been done for the DIP and will a further one be carried out for the full application? Nothing has shown up on my MSE Credit Club searches section yet from Virgin although the DIP was only received today so may take a few days.

I understand lenders do a credit check before completion too, but I just wanted to know if for Virgin specifically the credit check has been done now and there won't be further till completion?

They ended up doing 1 soft search and 3 hard searches for our mortgage application. Thanks Virgin!!!

I guess I wouldn't have minded if they offered the full amount but now we have to go with another lender 3 hard searches is excessive

I went direct to virgin money and dip was done Thursday and Friday with hard search Whilest giving personal info; work outgoings etc, next day checked credit file to see generic id check and full mortgage check with amount asked written in experian. Was refered to underwriter who requested p60 and 3 month bank statement plus payslips. However seller pulled out of sale so need to find something quick!
