Anyone signed up for CommuterClub recently?

Options
I was in the process of registering for CommuterClub and noticed they are asking for
Date of Birth
Address history for last 3 years

Seems like they will be doing a credit check but they don't mention it on the website (Or I wasn't able to see it). It doesn't say whether it will be a soft check or a hard credit check.

I was registering for National-Rail monthly season ticket (outside London zone, not Oyster Card)

Any tips?

Do you perform a credit check when I apply?
When you apply for a loan with us, our partner RateSetter will perform a 'soft search' on your credit file. This is marked as a quotation on your file. It will be visible to you and other Lenders but will not affect your credit score.

If you complete your application with us, we will make a full credit search once you are approved. This gets recorded on your credit file as a search. If you maintain your payments over several months this can help strengthen your credit score.
